Sal Store promotes comfort and femininity with each collection designed with the love of the ocean. Owner, Marcella Brit, was born in Rio de Janeiro, but also spent some of her childhood in California which sparked her love of the sea. After 10 years of showing her talent as a designer in the Rio fashion market, she desired to wear comfortable swimwear with a feminine touch whilst practising sports. In 2013, Sal was born! This year, Marcella launched her gorgeous Capsule Collection. With more women taking part in kitesurfing, Sal sought Champion Kite Wave Rider Milla Ferreira, and together they created a collection with comfort, function and fashion at the forefront. Maio Arubinha

The Maio Arubinha one piece receives compliments every time I wear it. The pattern is gorgeous and the cut is incredibly flattering. With a high neck and a second lining across the bust to keep everything in place and comfortable, it’s the perfect suit for the active water woman. The back has an elegant cut out with a tie and moderate booty coverage with a high cut on the sides to flatter your curves. The material is stamped neoprene and is roughly 1mm thick, which is amazingly soft and sits comfortably on the skin. The attention to detail is incredible, you can see the skill and time that’s gone into making this suit with even an internal cord for your keys or wax scraper! I honestly love the cut and pattern of this one piece, it’s timeless and elegant and makes me feel so stylish on the water without having the fear of exposing anything!

Boardshort Arubinha

The best pair of boardshorts I own! The Arubinha Boardshorts not only look great with their gorgeous, vibrant tropical print, they also are incredibly comfortable. Sal has used diamond fabric technology with elastane which makes them super lightweight, but still stretchy. The light material means they absorb less water and dry much quicker too! The waistband has an elastic waist with a tie string which is perfect for tightening them for if you’re on the water, or wearing them on the land. They look and feel amazing and I love the material. They are incredibly comfortable and move with you, no matter what activity you’re doing. I would recommend to every beach babe / kiter / fashionista!
