Mi Ola owner Helena, learnt to surf 7 years ago and became obsessed with it leading her to move to Costa Rica. Whilst being in the water everyday she couldn’t find any sexy, well made surf bikinis so she created Mi Ola. Every suit has been designed to look great and provide active women with a functional, premium, sexy suit that stays put. I love the range of styles and fabrics that Mi Ola have to offer, but the mermaid wrap top and thong tha thong bottoms were a must have for me. The wrap top is a real eye catcher and after following the size guide, fits me perfectly. The material is soft and the straps are thick, meaning the top just sits on top of the skin and doesn’t cut in whilst you tighten it to the desired fit. The cut is extremely flattering, being rather small chested, I can tighten or loosen the top to either accentuate my lady lumps, or not! The shimmering mermaid material looks gorgeous and it reversible to black if you wanted to dress it down.

The Thong Tha Thong Bottoms by name, are the lesser coverage bottoms of the range, but have an incredible fit! With a drawstring on the side,you can adjust the tightness accordingly depending if you’re chilling round the pool, or duck diving in heavy swells! The material is light and sticks when wet, meaning your bottoms are not going anywhere! I love the cheeky cut as it makes any booty pop, no matter what your size or shape.

I am incredibly impressed with this set. At first I wasn’t so sure about wrap tops, but I have surfed and kitesurfed in this bikini and it’s stayed put absolutely fine, even after some heavy wipeouts. The bottoms hug your body and you can feel that they won’t be going anywhere. This set is also super comfortable so I can wear it for chilling around the pool. I feel confident in my Mi Ola bikini and with a wide range of prints, cuts and shapes, there’s something for everyone.
